One of the more popular relaxing habits that I have started using is aromatherapy. I spray a calming scent mist such as lavender on my pillow case each night right before going to bed. I also put lavender oil on my wrists. Not every person is equally affected by aromatherapy. I happen to really enjoy the scents and they make a difference in my mood. I would suggest you try this method and see if it helps you relax. Just keep in mind that some scents awaken the senses such as citrus and you want to pick a relaxing scent before bed such as lavender or chamomile. It also really helps when you are stressed.
