Daylight Savings Time Ends Means More Sleep

Daylight Savings Time Ends This Saturday Night

Daylight Savings Time ends this Saturday night. After a night of Halloween Partying, it will be good to get in an extra hour sleep; the one you lost back in the spring. Don’t forget to turn your clocks back Saturday night before you go to bed. I don’t ever remember this happening on Halloween before. I wish they would just leave it one way or the other. Messing with the time, only messes with my body clock. The best way to adjust is by gradually introducing the new time to your body. If possible, start as early as Wednesday night before the weekend. That ┬ánight go to bed 15 minutes later than you normally do, then the next night an additional 15 minutes and so on. Or….you can boldly jump in and try to pick up some extra zzzzzzz. That always feels good to me. You will probably wake up early for a week or so.
