Dieting and Sleep. Every article that I have ever read regarding trying to loose weight says it is virtually ¬†impossible to do if you are lacking the appropriate amount of sleep. When you are sleepy, tired, you just don’t have the energy to resist temptations. You are doing everything to can to just stay alert. Your body is trying desperately to acquire the energy it is lacking from sleep by craving carbs. Get your sleep issues resolved and then you can start on the diet. Not visa versa.
